Population structure indicators at national level

In 2023, Sweden's population structure indicators at national level increased by 0.2% compared to 2022, reaching 40.8.

The figure is below the EU-27 average of 44.5.

Sweden ranks 23rd out of 27 EU member states with reported data — in the bottom half of the distribution.

Over the past five years, the indicator has grown by 0.5% (from 40.6 in 2018).
