At-risk-of-poverty rate of older people by sex - EU-SILC survey

In 2024, Sweden's at-risk-of-poverty rate of older people by sex decreased by 21.6% compared to 2023, reaching 10.9.

Sweden accounts for 65.7% of the EU-27 total of 16.6.

Sweden ranks 24th out of 27 EU member states with reported data — in the bottom half of the distribution.

Over the past five years, the indicator has fallen by 28.3% (from 15.2 in 2019).
