In 2024, Sweden's at-risk-of-poverty rate of older people by detailed age group decreased by 18.5% compared to 2023, reaching 11.0.

Sweden accounts for 67.1% of the EU-27 total of 16.4.

Sweden ranks 23rd out of 27 EU member states with reported data — in the bottom half of the distribution.

Over the past five years, the indicator has fallen by 22.5% (from 14.2 in 2019).
