At-risk-of-poverty rate by poverty threshold, age and sex

In 2006, Austria's at-risk-of-poverty rate by poverty threshold, age and sex increased by 16.5% compared to 2005, reaching 16.2%.

Austria ranks 16th out of 25 EU member states with reported data — in the bottom half of the distribution.

Over the past five years, the indicator has fallen by 32.5% (from 24.0% in 2001).
