At-risk-of-poverty rate by poverty threshold, age and sex - EU-SILC and ECHP surveys

In 2020, Germany's at-risk-of-poverty rate by poverty threshold, age and sex increased by 10.1% compared to 2019, reaching 15.3%.

The figure is below the EU-27 average of 15.9%.

Germany ranks 13th out of 27 EU member states with reported data — in the top half of the distribution.

Over the past five years, the indicator has fallen by 3.8% (from 15.9% in 2015).
