Fertility indicators

In 1995, Austria's fertility indicators decreased by 3.4% compared to 1994, reaching 1.42.

Austria ranks 14th out of 23 EU member states with reported data — in the bottom half of the distribution.

Over the past five years, the indicator has fallen by 2.7% (from 1.46 in 1990).
