Population structure indicators at national level

In 2012, Austria's population structure indicators at national level increased by 0.7% compared to 2011, reaching 28.8.

The figure is below the EU-27 average of 29.5.

Austria ranks 14th out of 27 EU member states with reported data — in the bottom half of the distribution.

Over the past five years, the indicator has grown by 4.7% (from 27.5 in 2007).
