Population structure indicators at national level

In 2018, Austria's population structure indicators at national level increased by 1.0% compared to 2017, reaching 30.2.

The figure is below the EU-27 average of 33.5.

Austria ranks 20th out of 27 EU member states with reported data — in the bottom half of the distribution.

Over the past five years, the indicator has grown by 3.4% (from 29.2 in 2013).
