Population structure indicators at national level

In 2019, Austria's population structure indicators at national level increased by 1.0% compared to 2018, reaching 30.5.

The figure is below the EU-27 average of 34.1.

Austria ranks 21st out of 27 EU member states with reported data — in the bottom half of the distribution.

Over the past five years, the indicator has grown by 3.0% (from 29.6 in 2014).
