Population structure indicators at national level

In 2020, Austria's population structure indicators at national level increased by 1.3% compared to 2019, reaching 30.9.

The figure is below the EU-27 average of 34.8.

Austria ranks 21st out of 27 EU member states with reported data — in the bottom half of the distribution.

Over the past five years, the indicator has grown by 3.7% (from 29.8 in 2015).
