Main indicators - share of renewable energy

In 2011, Austria's main indicators increased by 0.6% compared to 2010, reaching 66.8%.

The figure is above the EU-27 average of 23.3%.

Austria ranks 1st out of 27 EU member states with reported data — in the top half of the distribution.

Over the past five years, the indicator has grown by 5.1% (from 63.5% in 2006).
