Main indicators - share of renewable energy

In 2018, Austria's main indicators increased by 2.0% compared to 2017, reaching 33.8%.

The figure is above the EU-27 average of 19.1%.

Austria ranks 5th out of 27 EU member states with reported data — in the top half of the distribution.

Over the past five years, the indicator has grown by 3.4% (from 32.7% in 2013).
