Population in private households by educational attainment level

In 2022, Austria's population in private households by educational attainment level increased by 2.9% compared to 2021, reaching 35.6%.

The figure is above the EU-27 average of 34.2%.

Austria ranks 15th out of 27 EU member states with reported data — in the bottom half of the distribution.

Over the past five years, the indicator has grown by 9.9% (from 32.4% in 2017).
