Population in private households by educational attainment level

In 2021, Austria's population in private households by educational attainment level increased by 1.2% compared to 2020, reaching 34.6%.

The figure is above the EU-27 average of 33.6%.

Austria ranks 16th out of 27 EU member states with reported data — in the bottom half of the distribution.

Over the past five years, the indicator has grown by 10.2% (from 31.4% in 2016).
