At-risk-of-poverty rate by poverty threshold, age and sex - EU-SILC and ECHP surveys

In 2006, France's at-risk-of-poverty rate by poverty threshold, age and sex decreased by 1.8% compared to 2005, reaching 16.1%.

France ranks 17th out of 25 EU member states with reported data — in the bottom half of the distribution.

Over the past five years, the indicator has grown by 46.4% (from 11.0% in 2001).
