Fertility indicators

In 1970, Belgium's fertility indicators decreased by 0.9% compared to 1969, reaching 2.25.

Belgium ranks 9th out of 17 EU member states with reported data — in the bottom half of the distribution.

Over the past five years, the indicator has fallen by 13.8% (from 2.61 in 1965).
