Population structure indicators at national level

In 2020, Belgium's population structure indicators at national level increased by 1.6% compared to 2019, reaching 32.7.

The figure is below the EU-27 average of 34.8.

Belgium ranks 16th out of 27 EU member states with reported data — in the bottom half of the distribution.

Over the past five years, the indicator has grown by 7.2% (from 30.5 in 2015).
