Population structure indicators at national level

In 2021, Belgium's population structure indicators at national level increased by 0.9% compared to 2020, reaching 33.0.

The figure is below the EU-27 average of 35.4.

Belgium ranks 17th out of 27 EU member states with reported data — in the bottom half of the distribution.

Over the past five years, the indicator has grown by 7.1% (from 30.8 in 2016).
