Population structure indicators at national level

In 2023, Belgium's population structure indicators at national level increased by 0.9% compared to 2022, reaching 33.9.

The figure is below the EU-27 average of 36.4.

Belgium ranks 17th out of 27 EU member states with reported data — in the bottom half of the distribution.

Over the past five years, the indicator has grown by 6.6% (from 31.8 in 2018).
