Population structure indicators at national level

In 2024, Belgium's population structure indicators at national level increased by 1.5% compared to 2023, reaching 34.4.

The figure is below the EU-27 average of 37.0.

Belgium ranks 18th out of 27 EU member states with reported data — in the bottom half of the distribution.

Over the past five years, the indicator has grown by 6.8% (from 32.2 in 2019).
