Population structure indicators at national level

In 2023, Netherlands's population structure indicators at national level increased by 0.9% compared to 2022, reaching 34.4.

The figure is below the EU-27 average of 36.4.

Netherlands ranks 15th out of 27 EU member states with reported data — in the bottom half of the distribution.

Over the past five years, the indicator has grown by 7.5% (from 32.0 in 2018).
