Main indicators - share of renewable energy

In 2018, Belgium's main indicators increased by 3.7% compared to 2017, reaching 9.5%.

The figure is below the EU-27 average of 19.1%.

Belgium ranks 24th out of 27 EU member states with reported data — in the bottom half of the distribution.

Over the past five years, the indicator has grown by 23.5% (from 7.7% in 2013).
