Main indicators - share of renewable energy

In 2009, Belgium's main indicators increased by 207.6% compared to 2008, reaching 2.2%.

The figure is below the EU-27 average of 4.9%.

Belgium ranks 17th out of 26 EU member states with reported data — in the bottom half of the distribution.

Over the past five years, the indicator has grown by 241.1% (from 0.6% in 2004).
