Main indicators - share of renewable energy

In 2021, Belgium's main indicators decreased by 6.4% compared to 2020, reaching 10.3%.

The figure is above the EU-27 average of 9.1%.

Belgium ranks 6th out of 27 EU member states with reported data — in the top half of the distribution.

Over the past five years, the indicator has grown by 71.4% (from 6.0% in 2016).
