Main indicators - share of renewable energy

In 2022, Belgium's main indicators increased by 1.4% compared to 2021, reaching 10.5%.

The figure is above the EU-27 average of 9.6%.

Belgium ranks 6th out of 27 EU member states with reported data — in the top half of the distribution.

Over the past five years, the indicator has grown by 57.8% (from 6.6% in 2017).
