In 2015, Bulgaria's police-recorded offences by offence category decreased by 7.1% compared to 2014, reaching 38,315.

Bulgaria ranks 18th out of 27 EU member states with reported data — in the bottom half of the distribution.

Over the past five years, the indicator has fallen by 24.1% (from 50,479 in 2010).
