Police-recorded offences by offence category

In 2014, Bulgaria's police-recorded offences by offence category decreased by 8.9% compared to 2013, reaching 41,246.

Bulgaria ranks 18th out of 27 EU member states with reported data — in the bottom half of the distribution.

Over the past five years, the indicator has fallen by 6.8% (from 44,278 in 2009).
