Main national accounts tax aggregates

In 2024, Bulgaria's main national accounts tax aggregates increased by 1.6% compared to 2023, reaching 6.5%.

The figure is below the EU-27 average of 13.2%.

Bulgaria ranks 26th out of 27 EU member states with reported data — in the bottom half of the distribution.

Over the past five years, the indicator has grown by 12.1% (from 5.8% in 2019).
