Fertility indicators

In 1971, Bulgaria's fertility indicators decreased by 3.2% compared to 1970, reaching 2.10.

Bulgaria ranks 12th out of 18 EU member states with reported data — in the bottom half of the distribution.

Over the past five years, the indicator has grown by 3.4% (from 2.03 in 1966).
