Fertility indicators

In 1970, Bulgaria's fertility indicators decreased by 4.4% compared to 1969, reaching 2.17.

Bulgaria ranks 11th out of 17 EU member states with reported data — in the bottom half of the distribution.

Over the past five years, the indicator has grown by 3.8% (from 2.09 in 1965).
