Population structure indicators at national level

In 2017, Bulgaria's population structure indicators at national level increased by 0.9% compared to 2016, reaching 45.0.

The figure is above the EU-27 average of 43.2.

Bulgaria ranks 3rd out of 27 EU member states with reported data — in the top half of the distribution.

Over the past five years, the indicator has grown by 5.4% (from 42.7 in 2012).
