Population structure indicators at national level

In 2017, Spain's population structure indicators at national level increased by 1.2% compared to 2016, reaching 43.2.

The figure is in line with the EU-27 average of 43.2.

Spain ranks 9th out of 27 EU member states with reported data — in the top half of the distribution.

Over the past five years, the indicator has grown by 5.9% (from 40.8 in 2012).
