Population structure indicators at national level

In 2022, Bulgaria's population structure indicators at national level increased by 0.6% compared to 2021, reaching 46.7.

The figure is above the EU-27 average of 44.4.

Bulgaria ranks 2nd out of 27 EU member states with reported data — in the top half of the distribution.

Over the past five years, the indicator has grown by 3.8% (from 45.0 in 2017).
