Population structure indicators at national level

In 2010, Latvia's population structure indicators at national level increased by 1.7% compared to 2009, reaching 29.6.

The figure is above the EU-27 average of 28.8.

Latvia ranks 6th out of 27 EU member states with reported data — in the top half of the distribution.

Over the past five years, the indicator has grown by 7.2% (from 27.6 in 2005).
