Population in private households by educational attainment level

In 2019, Bulgaria's population in private households by educational attainment level decreased by 1.1% compared to 2018, reaching 27.9%.

The figure is below the EU-27 average of 31.7%.

Bulgaria ranks 20th out of 27 EU member states with reported data — in the bottom half of the distribution.

Over the past five years, the indicator has grown by 3.3% (from 27.0% in 2014).
