Population in private households by educational attainment level

In 2020, Bulgaria's population in private households by educational attainment level increased by 4.7% compared to 2019, reaching 29.2%.

The figure is below the EU-27 average of 32.8%.

Bulgaria ranks 20th out of 27 EU member states with reported data — in the bottom half of the distribution.

Over the past five years, the indicator has grown by 6.2% (from 27.5% in 2015).
