Population in private households by educational attainment level

In 2021, Bulgaria's population in private households by educational attainment level increased by 1.7% compared to 2020, reaching 29.7%.

The figure is below the EU-27 average of 33.6%.

Bulgaria ranks 20th out of 27 EU member states with reported data — in the bottom half of the distribution.

Over the past five years, the indicator has grown by 7.2% (from 27.7% in 2016).
