Population in private households by educational attainment level

In 2022, Bulgaria's population in private households by educational attainment level increased by 0.7% compared to 2021, reaching 29.9%.

The figure is below the EU-27 average of 34.2%.

Bulgaria ranks 20th out of 27 EU member states with reported data — in the bottom half of the distribution.

Over the past five years, the indicator has grown by 7.6% (from 27.8% in 2017).
