Population in private households by educational attainment level

In 2025, Bulgaria's population in private households by educational attainment level increased by 5.6% compared to 2024, reaching 35.7%.

The figure is below the EU-27 average of 36.9%.

Bulgaria ranks 17th out of 27 EU member states with reported data — in the bottom half of the distribution.

Over the past five years, the indicator has grown by 22.3% (from 29.2% in 2020).
