At-risk-of-poverty rate by poverty threshold, age and sex

In 2020, Croatia's at-risk-of-poverty rate by poverty threshold, age and sex increased by 3.0% compared to 2019, reaching 31.0%.

The figure is above the EU-27 average of 17.0%.

Croatia ranks 5th out of 27 EU member states with reported data — in the top half of the distribution.

Over the past five years, the indicator has grown by 17.9% (from 26.3% in 2015).
