At-risk-of-poverty rate by poverty threshold, age and sex - EU-SILC and ECHP surveys

In 2021, Croatia's at-risk-of-poverty rate by poverty threshold, age and sex increased by 4.5% compared to 2020, reaching 32.4%.

The figure is above the EU-27 average of 16.7%.

Croatia ranks 5th out of 27 EU member states with reported data — in the top half of the distribution.

Over the past five years, the indicator has grown by 22.3% (from 26.5% in 2016).
