In 2020, Estonia's at-risk-of-poverty rate by poverty threshold, age and sex decreased by 5.3% compared to 2019, reaching 41.4%.
The figure is above the EU-27 average of 17.0%.
Estonia ranks 1st out of 27 EU member states with reported data — in the top half of the distribution.
Over the past five years, the indicator has grown by 15.6% (from 35.8% in 2015).
