Employment rates by citizenship

In 2025, Croatia's employment rates by citizenship increased by 1.5% compared to 2024, reaching 66.4%.

The figure is below the EU-27 average of 66.6%.

Croatia ranks 21st out of 27 EU member states with reported data — in the bottom half of the distribution.

Over the past five years, the indicator has grown by 16.3% (from 57.1% in 2020).
