Employment rates by citizenship

In 2024, Croatia's employment rates by citizenship increased by 5.3% compared to 2023, reaching 65.4%.

The figure is below the EU-27 average of 66.2%.

Croatia ranks 22nd out of 27 EU member states with reported data — in the bottom half of the distribution.

Over the past five years, the indicator has grown by 14.5% (from 57.1% in 2019).
