Share of energy from renewable sources

In 2019, Croatia's share of energy from renewable sources increased by 1.5% compared to 2018, reaching 28.5%.

The figure is above the EU-27 average of 19.9%.

Croatia ranks 8th out of 27 EU member states with reported data — in the top half of the distribution.

Over the past five years, the indicator has grown by 2.3% (from 27.8% in 2014).
