Main indicators - share of renewable energy

In 2019, Sweden's main indicators increased by 3.5% compared to 2018, reaching 55.8%.

The figure is above the EU-27 average of 19.9%.

Sweden ranks 1st out of 27 EU member states with reported data — in the top half of the distribution.

Over the past five years, the indicator has grown by 9.1% (from 51.2% in 2014).
