In 2013, Croatia's police-recorded offences by offence category decreased by 3.8% compared to 2012, reaching 18,483.

Croatia ranks 16th out of 25 EU member states with reported data — in the bottom half of the distribution.

Over the past five years, the indicator has grown by 5.8% (from 17,471 in 2008).
