At-risk-of-poverty rate by poverty threshold, age and sex

In 2019, Cyprus's at-risk-of-poverty rate by poverty threshold, age and sex increased by 11.0% compared to 2018, reaching 19.2%.

The figure is above the EU-27 average of 18.7%.

Cyprus ranks 10th out of 27 EU member states with reported data — in the top half of the distribution.

Over the past five years, the indicator has grown by 50.0% (from 12.8% in 2014).
