At-risk-of-poverty rate by poverty threshold, age and sex - EU-SILC and ECHP surveys

In 2022, Cyprus's at-risk-of-poverty rate by poverty threshold, age and sex increased by 7.9% compared to 2021, reaching 16.3%.

The figure is below the EU-27 average of 19.4%.

Cyprus ranks 14th out of 27 EU member states with reported data — in the bottom half of the distribution.

Over the past five years, the indicator has fallen by 1.2% (from 16.5% in 2017).
