At-risk-of-poverty rate by poverty threshold, age and sex - EU-SILC and ECHP surveys

In 2023, Cyprus's at-risk-of-poverty rate by poverty threshold, age and sex decreased by 11.7% compared to 2022, reaching 14.4%.

The figure is below the EU-27 average of 19.5%.

Cyprus ranks 19th out of 27 EU member states with reported data — in the bottom half of the distribution.

Over the past five years, the indicator has fallen by 16.8% (from 17.3% in 2018).
